Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Calumet Chieftains, falling 15-7. The Red Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chieftains from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Declan Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Dyson Moss also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Clinton's record now sits at 5-9. As for Calumet, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Clinton will face off against Mount St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calumet, they have already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Tuttle on the 28th.
