Basketball Game Preview: South Central Rebels vs. Henryville Hornets

South Central and Henryville are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The South Central Rebels will take on the Henryville Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for South Central against Clarksville as the squad secured a 64-30 victory. With the Rebels ahead 37-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Henryville earned a 57-45 win over Clarksville on Tuesday.

South Central is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Henryville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

South Central came up short against Henryville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 57-52. Can South Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
