Baseball Recap: Lima Senior Takes a Loss

Lima Senior came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bowsher BlueRacers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Spartans have suffered against the BlueRacers since April 20, 2022.

Lima Senior saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmanuel Jokinen-Rutz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Lima Senior has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Bowsher, they pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
