Volleyball Game Preview: Castleford Wolves vs. Hansen Huskies

The Castleford Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Hansen Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Castleford took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Camas County with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Castleford was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-6, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Hansen got the win against Dietrich on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-19, 27-25.

Hansen pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Castleford, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Castleford couldn't quite get it done against Hansen in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
