Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Surrey

Surrey came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over Powers Lake/Burke Central. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Surrey pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Surrey will face off against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Surrey knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood likes a good challenge. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Divide County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
