Softball Recap: Leigh Longhorns vs. Willow Glen Rams

Leigh had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-13-1 to make it four. They came up short against the Willow Glen Rams, falling 10-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Leigh saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mady Cabrera, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

As for Willow Glen, the win keeps they at an undefeated 14-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average this season.
