Flag Football Recap: Valley Center Comes Up Short

Valley Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 18-8 to the Vista Panthers. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Yasmin Castillo - Garcia threw for 64 yards and one touchdown. Samantha Vasquez was her top target, picking up 28 receiving yards and one score.

Valley Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Vista, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Valley Center has already played their next game (against Oceanside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Vista, they will be playing at home against Helix at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
