It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Somerset Sky Pointe can now relate to. They came up short against the Silverado Skyhawks on Monday, falling 3-0. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

While Somerset Sky Pointe ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-18.

Silverado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marlee Fakatoumafi out in front who had five aces and four digs. That's the most aces Fakatoumafi has posted since back in September.

Somerset Sky Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Silverado, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Somerset Sky Pointe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silverado, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas on the 6th.
