Basketball Recap: Banks Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Banks lost to Riverdale back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Banks Braves walked away with a 53-45 victory over the Riverdale Mavericks.

Banks is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Riverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Coincidentally, Banks and Riverdale will both be playing Warrenton the next time they take the court. Riverdale will head out to face Warrenton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Banks will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
