Volleyball Game Preview: Prospect Ridge Academy Miners vs. St. Mary's Academy Wildcats + How To Watch

Prospect Ridge Academy has gone 9-1 against St. Mary's Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Miners will welcome the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Prospect Ridge Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Prospect Ridge Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson Academy, taking the game 3-1.

Prospect Ridge Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

Prospect Ridge Academy can attribute much of their success to DeLaney Ash, who had seven digs and three aces, and Molly McLemore, who had six kills, three blocks, and two aces. That's the most kills McLemore has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when St. Mary's Academy faced off against Littleton on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Lions 3-0.

St. Mary's Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Littleton to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

St. Mary's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
