Basketball Recap: Muskegon Catholic Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Saugatuck last Tuesday, Muskegon Catholic Central came back down to earth. The Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Michigan Aviation Academy on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 66-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Muskegon Catholic Central now has a losing record at 7-8. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Coming up, Muskegon Catholic Central will take on Grand River Prep at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, they will challenge Tri-Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
