After a string of seven wins, San Clemente's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 77-66 to the San Juan Hills Stallions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Tritons still had to take the loss.

San Clemente's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Porter Hansen, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points and three steals, and Christian Fernandez, who went 9 of 20 en route to 25 points. Another player making a difference was Braeden Baggs, who posted five points and five boards.

Mason Hodges continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for San Juan Hills, shooting 6-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 38 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Hodges' 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Aziz, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

San Clemente's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 18-5. As for San Juan Hills, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7.
