Baseball Recap: Seaside Comes Up Short

Seaside lost against Estacada back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seagulls lost 14-3 to the Rangers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Seagulls have suffered against the Rangers since March 31, 2015.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Estacada, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Seaside and Estacada will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Seagulls will face off against rival Scappoose at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Estacada is set to take on their familiar foe Molalla at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
