Basketball Recap: DNA Prep Academy Takes a Loss

DNA Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 62-45 to the Southeastern Prep Academy National Falcons. The contest marked the Nobles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southeastern Prep Academy National to victory, but perhaps none more so than CJ Rosser Jr., who shot 62% from the field en route to 22 points and seven rebounds. The game was Rosser Jr.'s fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Obinna Ekezie was another key player, going 7-for-11 to rack up 15 points and eight boards.

DNA Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southeastern Prep Academy National, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.
