Baseball Recap: Jackson HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Jackson HomeSchool scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Newton County Academy Generals by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Saturday.

Jackson HomeSchool is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Newton County Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson HomeSchool will challenge Coastal Mississippi Homeschool at 2:00 p.m. on March 8th. As for Newton County Academy, they will square off against Discovery Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton County Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
