Volleyball Recap: Kinston Comes Up Short

Kinston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the West Craven Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 19-25, 25-10.

Kinston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Craven, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kinston will head out to challenge Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Craven, they will take on Havelock at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
