Soccer Game Preview: Dillon vs. Georgetown

Dillon is 1-6 against Georgetown since March of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

While the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was Darlington who was credited with the win on Tuesday. The Falcons got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to Dillon's zero. Even if Dillon couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Dillon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
