Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hickory Christian Academy). They blew past the Salem Baptist Christian Vikings 79-34 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-36 two weeks ago.

Hickory Christian Academy was led to victory by Landon Crouse and Noah Durham. Crouse dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds, while Durham went 7 of 9 on his way to 20 points and five assists. Durham is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Carter Moore, who posted eight points and seven boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Hickory Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Hickory Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Salem Baptist Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
