Basketball Recap: Brusly Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Brusly won the last time they faced Bourgeois and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Brusly Panthers came out on top against the Bourgeois Braves by a score of 65-56. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Braves are ranked 107th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brusly's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-11. As for Bourgeois, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-15.

Brusly will challenge Port Allen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bourgeois, they and E.D. White will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. E.D. White will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Bourgeois surely won't give up without a fight.
