Basketball Recap: Welsh Takes a Loss

Welsh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hackberry Mustangs. The Greyhounds were probably out for revenge after losing 46-31 to them when the teams met back in January of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Welsh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Hackberry, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.

Welsh is taking a road trip to take on Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hackberry, they will take on Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
