Baseball Game Preview: New Hope Trojans vs. Lafayette Commodores

For the second straight game, New Hope will face off against Lafayette. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Commodores at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (New Hope 3, Lafayette 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

New Hope is returning to their home field after beating Lafayette on theirs, despite the fact Lafayette has dominated at home this season. The Trojans came out on top against the Commodores by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

For Lafayette's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Harris, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

New Hope's victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Lafayette, they moved to 13-7 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
