Hobbton is 9-0-1 against Rosewood since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Hobbton will be strutting in after a win while Rosewood will be coming in after a loss.

Rosewood better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Hobbton's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Hobbton really gets things going. The Wildcats blew past North Duplin 4-1. The victory continues a trend for Hobbton in their matchups with North Duplin: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Rosewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Neuse Charter, falling 7-0.

Hobbton's win bumped their record up to 5-6-1. As for Rosewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1.

Hobbton came out on top in a nail-biter against Rosewood in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
