Mt. Spokane strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Cheney Blackhawks 9-2. Considering the Wildcats have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mt. Spokane's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Cheney, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Mt. Spokane will look to defend their home field on Monday against Freeman at 3:30 p.m. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Scotties have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Cheney, they will head out to square off against Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saxons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.29 runs per game on average), something the Blackhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
