Basketball Recap: Warsaw Skates Past Santa Fe with Ease

While Warsaw didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Santa Fe Chiefs 55-18 on Saturday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Warsaw has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.7 points. As for Santa Fe, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Warsaw Wildcats challenge the Lawson Cardinals at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025. After both having extra time off, Santa Fe and Orrick will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
