Hannibal won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Marissa Falconer paced Hannibal's offense, picking up nine kills. Falconer got some help from Malia Stolte and her 12 assists. Falconer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hannibal's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Northwest, they now have a losing record of 6-7-2.

Hannibal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pattonville on the 20th. As for Northwest, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against St. Charles on the 20th.
