After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Menard, Mullin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Moran Bulldogs 49-0 at home. Mullin's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Mullin's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Moran, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Mullin will play host again on Friday to welcome Ranger, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Mullin is facing Ranger at the right time seeing as Ranger is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Moran, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trent at 7:30 p.m. on October 4th.
