Basketball Recap: Oscoda Takes a Loss

Oscoda was the 50-40 winner over Heston Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Oscoda Owls fell just short of the Heston Academy Patriots by a score of 37-35 on Friday.

Oscoda's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Heston Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

While Oscoda had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
