Thomas Jefferson Campus had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.9 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 92-76 win over the Curtis Warriors. Given the Orange Wave's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Warriors are ranked 99th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thomas Jefferson Campus' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jahda Swann, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists. Swann's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Sprattley, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine assists.

Swann wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Thomas Jefferson Campus was working as a unit and finished the game with 32 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Thomas Jefferson Campus pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Curtis, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Thomas Jefferson Campus will head out to challenge Eagle Academy II at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Curtis, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canarsie at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
