Football Recap: Eastern View Comes Up Short

Eastern View fought the good fight in their overtime match against Culpeper County on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 15-14 to the Blue Devils. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eastern View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Culpeper County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Eastern View will head out on the road to face off against Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Culpeper County, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against James Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
