Volleyball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Gets the Win

Perry-Lecompton won the last time they faced Oskaloosa and things went their way on Monday too. The Kaws walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bears.

Perry-Lecompton easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12.

Paxton Damme paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up nine kills. Damme got some help from Emmy Reed and her 14 assists. Devin Aldrich and Macie Corcoran kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Perry-Lecompton's victory bumped their record up to 23-15. As for Oskaloosa, they dropped their record down to 6-23-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Perry-Lecompton and Oskaloosa will both be playing Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Cyclones on Monday, while the Kaws will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
