East and Sheridan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but East had to settle for second. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheridan Broncs. The Thunderbirds' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

East's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither East nor Sheridan have any future games scheduled.
