Riverbend won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears skirted past the Wildcats 1-0. Give Riverbend's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Riverbend's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven matchups. As for Mountain View, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Riverbend will welcome North Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against Colonial Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colonial Forge will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight.
