Basketball Game Preview: Kewaskum Indians vs. Plymouth Panthers

Kewaskum hasn't had much luck against Plymouth recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kewaskum Indians will welcome the Plymouth Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Plymouth is hoping to do what Winneconne couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Kewaskum's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Kewaskum sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 91-88 win over Winneconne. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted against the Wolves since February 5, 2021.

Zach Behn had a dynamite game for Kewaskum, dropping a double-double on 41 points and 19 boards. The matchup was Behn's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Gambino, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Plymouth ended up a good deal behind Waupun on Tuesday and lost 80-64. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewaskum's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Kewaskum came up short against Plymouth when the teams last played back in January, falling 61-52. Can Kewaskum avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
