Volleyball Game Preview: Clovis East Timberwolves vs. Clovis Cougars

The Clovis East Timberwolves will challenge the Clovis Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Clovis East's tournament run continued when they took on Rosary Academy on Saturday. The Timberwolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Clovis had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 3-1.

Clovis was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Clovis' win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Clovis East, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Clovis East suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Clovis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
