Aragon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Menlo School Knights, sneaking past 3-2. For the Dons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Aragon took Menlo School into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 23-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Aragon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sosefina Tatola led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. What's more, Tatola posted three assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aragon is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Lowell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Menlo School, they will head out to square off against Menlo-Atherton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
