Austin made his presence known in Sam Houston's 68-58 defeat
Even if Sam Houston couldn't beat Haltom on Tuesday, underclassman Rylan Austin still had a big game. Austin was dialed in and scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. He played a big game the last time he faced Haltom, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
Austin and Sam Houston will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grand Prairie at 7:30 p.m. Sam Houston has been struggling at home recently and they'll enter the game having lost nine straight home games.
