Quincy Notre Dame came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Beardstown Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Quincy Notre Dame pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Beardstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy Notre Dame will head out to take on Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Beardstown, they are taking a road trip to square off against Midwest Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
