Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara entered their tilt with Chicago Hope Academy on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They managed a 47-42 victory over Chicago Hope Academy.

Bishop McNamara pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for St. Edward, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
