Baseball Recap: Bishop Kearney's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Bishop Kearney barely beat Edison Tech the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Kings blew past the Inventors 10-2 on Monday. The Kings not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2024 (when they won 17-4).

The team relied heavily on Augustine Valentini, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Bishop Kearney: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Athanasius Valentini also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bishop Kearney moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Edison Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
