Volleyball Recap: Jonesville Takes a Loss

Jonesville suffered their biggest loss since October 7th on Tuesday. They came up short against Hanover-Horton, falling 3-0. Jonesville hasn't had much luck with Hanover-Horton recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-5, 25-11.

Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up seven kills. Wood got some help from Olivia Babcock and her nine assists. Finally, Kira VanKampen kept Jonesville's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jonesville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16-1. As for Hanover-Horton, the win was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jonesville will welcome Hillsdale on Saturday. As for Hanover-Horton, they will square off against Michigan Center at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
