Volleyball Recap: Claremont Wolfpack vs. Upland Highlanders/Scots
Claremont lost against Upland last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Claremont came up short against Upland, falling 3-0. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Claremont couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Upland a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 25-22, 25-18.
Nathaniel Stevens had a dynamite game For Upland., getting 38 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Stevens a new career-high.
Claremont's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Upland, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Claremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Damien on the 20th. As for Upland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Chino Hills on the 20th.
