Preview: Westview Chargers vs. Keenan Raiders
The Westview Chargers will take on the Keenan Raiders in a holiday battle at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday at. Westview is looking to tack on another W to their 12-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Westview beat South Fulton 51-42. Given Westview's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while South Fulton is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kylee Alexander was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Mccall Sims was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Keenan narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Lower Richland 47-45.
Westview's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Keenan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
