South Mountain had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They blew past the Camelback Spartans 7-2. Considering the Jaguars have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Mountain pushed their record up to 7-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Camelback, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

South Mountain will head out on the road to face off against Cortez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Mountain knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cortez likes a good challenge. Camelback has already played their next matchup (against Dobson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
