Recap: Weequahic Indians vs. St. Joseph Falcons

The Weequahic Indians suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Sunday. They were beaten by St. Joseph 61-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Weequahic has scored all season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Tyhir Barlow and Hekeimu Williams, who each put up four points. Williams also led the team in rebounds with five. Amare Faulk took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.

This is the second loss in a row for Weequahic and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for St. Joseph, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Weequahic will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Montclair Kimberley Academy at 4:00 p.m. St. Joseph's road trip will continue as they head out to face Union City at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Union City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 190th, while St. Joseph is ranked 47th).
