Volleyball Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks

The Dixie Flyers will take on the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Dixie will be strutting in after a victory while Ridgeline will be coming in after a defeat.

Dixie is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Deseret Peak 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Ridgeline's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They came up short against Green Canyon, falling 3-0.

Ridgeline took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Ridgeline's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 19-8. As for Dixie, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.

Dixie was able to grind out a solid victory over Ridgeline in their previous meeting back in October of 2018, winning 3-1. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Riverhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
