Baseball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

McLane fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Highlanders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

McLane saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Bravo, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

McLane now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Liberty, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Coming up, McLane is taking a road trip to face off against Fowler at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty, they will be playing at home against Justin Garza at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
