Lafayette waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Mexico Bulldogs.

Lafayette's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-12. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Mexico, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
