Softball Recap: Attica Wins Going Away Against Frontier

Attica's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Frontier Falcons with a sharp 24-12 win. The Red Ramblers have beaten the Falcons the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Falcons has come to flipping the script.

Naveen Hill was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Aleah Cruz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

The victory got Attica back to even at 1-1. As for Frontier, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Attica and Frontier will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Red Ramblers are set to square off against their familiar foe Covington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Frontier will take on rival DeMotte Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
