Soccer Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Union Grove was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Germantown Warhawks by a score of 2-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Union Grove couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ruby Christiansen, who's now up to two this season.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Lake Forest Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Germantown, they will head out to challenge Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
