Volleyball Recap: Intrinsic Takes a Loss

The Intrinsic Mustangs came up short against the Chicago Academy Cougars on Friday and fell 2-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Intrinsic ultimately came up short, they really made Chicago Academy work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-6.

Intrinsic's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Chicago Academy, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Coming up, Intrinsic will take on Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicago Academy, they will square off against Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Trojans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
